But it is certainly worth noting that if one was to read many of his books, then it is perhaps worthwhile to expect to reread some of the stories multiple times.
Thich Nhat Hanh is a time traveler. Then, I started reading it out loud and discussing it with my partner. I’ve experienced more now so it makes so much more sense.
I do not take issue with this, and actually find the repetition to be helpful for me. The first chapter was about “you are what you eat” – which I found quite interesting especially after just reading “skinny bitch” before this – but just him talking about the pain and suffering that animals go through when they die and then you eat that pain when you eat animals and so just to be aware of what you put in your body – not only food – but tv shows, magazines -etc – even friendships, relationships, and talking – which is something very true for me now as I try and stay away from the pointless talking so much and instead focus on discussing things of importance.
There is a reason we are feeling it, and we must determine what that reason I started reading this as research for an Anger Management workshop I will be presenting. Therefore, reading the book is basically useless for anyone unfamiliar with such techniques.
